The 2006 Gay Games are now seeking individuals for its Hosted Housing Program—Chicagoland residents willing to provide free sleeping accommodations to one or more competitors or cultural performers. The program, which launched April 25, is an online matching service.

About 300 homes will be needed for 400 to 500 participants.

There are several guidelines and recommendations regarding hosts. There is no cost to participate in the program by either host or guest—and hosts will not be allowed to charge fees of any kind to participants. Also, guest participants will receive a 10-day CTA pass, so hosts should be near CTA bus or rail lines.
